Scale Jet Models at the 2012 NBAA Static Display Models Take Center Stage Each year, the NBAA - National Business Aviation Association - organizes a trade show spectacle that brings over 1000 exhibitors together under one massive hangar. This year, the Orlando Convention Center was the hangar of choice and Orlando's Executive Airport (ORL) was the designated diversion for static. Trade show displays are often extensions of corporate persona with products taking center stage. Not unlike the yachting industry, jet manufacturers are presented with the challenge of displaying their wares in a somewhat undersize space. Enter the ever popular; scale model. JF's CPO (Chief Photographic Operator) Tom Serio, was still covering things that float at FLIBS, so JF's editorial team covered the first day of the NBAA. Armed with a neophyte's version of a professional camera, these shots were taken with a Canon EOS Rebel T2i. The manufacturers and models are in alphabetical order. ***
