Urban-Air Port Opens First Hub For eVTOL/Flying Taxis The world of eVTOLs/Air Taxi's etc cannot thrive if the ground supporting infrastructure is not in place. Despite the fast introduction, R&D, Certification testing that is being done on these types of craft around the world, if they make it to service and there is no proper ground-based infrastructure in place to support them it will stifle the growth of the industry. Urban-Air Port has opened a hub for flying taxis/eVTOLs and autonomous delivery drones in Coventry, UK. Actual eVTOLs are expected to utilize this facility from 2025 but the first cargo drone flight was penned for yesterday, 25th of April. Air One, which was constructed from steel and aluminium wrapped in a tensile translucent fabric.
