News: Textron Announce New Avionics Upgrades For Caravan Models

  1. Latest Garmin Software For Caravan; Grand Caravan EX
    Amidst all the updates business aircraft have been receiving in recent years avionics-related enhancements or overhauls have been at the forefront. In this case, Textron's Cessna Caravan and Grand Caravan EX will be focus of Garmin avionics enhancements in 2024. The popular utility turboprops have been the backbone of companies that have cargo, aeromedical, commuter services. The pilots operating them are about to be even more aware to the current situation and surroundings thanks to an improved user/operator experience.
  2. Equipped with the Garmin G1000 NXi avionics suite, Caravan operators will experience an array of new advanced features and technology from Garmin. Notable additions that will come standard include the GDL 60 datalink, the GTX 345DR diversity transponder and the GI 275 electronic standby. Caravan operators will have new optional features available to them including the Garmin GWX 8000 weather radar, which adds Automode and Lightning and Hail Prediction. They will also have optional Taxiway Routing, which provides visual guidance for Caravan operators when maneuvering in the airport environment.
