Deliveries Of M700 Fury Start It was just at the start of February that Piper Aircraft announced the new Piper M700 Fury. This aircraft is going to be replacing the M600SLS model and is the first step in a new generation in the M-Class lineup. Since the announcement of the M700 Fury by Piper, the Federal Aviation Administration has granted full certification to Piper for the new aircraft. Deliveries will now commence immediately to customers. The M700 Fury is not only faster than the M600SLS but it also has greater range. The range is 1,852 nautical miles on the M700 Fury vs 1,658 nautical miles on the M600SLS. In terms of speed, the new plane has a PT6A-52 engine will allows for a maximum cruise speed of 301 ktas.
Overall, the M700 Fury is a better performing aircraft beating the 600SLS in climb, landing and take off distance, speed and range. The Fury has a 5-blade hartzell vs the 4 blade of the 600SLS. The M700 Fury international validations for Canada (TCCA), Europe (EASA), the UK (CAA) and Brazil (ANAC) are on track to be completed in the second half of 2024, with customer deliveries in those regions before the end of the year.
