News: Lilium Jet Gains More Orders From GlobeAir

  1. GlobeAir Places Order With Lilium For eVTOLs
    Lilium and the Lilium Jet continues to grow with confidence in its forthcoming eVTOL product. GlobeAir placed an order for 12 Lilium Jet eVTOLs. GlobeAir is a charter operator and will operate the eVTOLs in the French Riviera and Italy. GlobeAir CEO Bernhard Fragner said Lilium is "changing how we think about aviation and revolutionizing how people travel. Technological breakthroughs, a forward-thinking mindset, and a drive to deliver quality time that fits customer expectations have propelled Lilium to the forefront of next-generation air travel."
  2. The Lilium Jet is expected to fly for just under 200 miles on a charge carrying six passengers using as many as 30 small electric engines situated on both the main wing and the canards. Remember the aircraft is in testing and so far has more than 100 test flights using the flight test prototype demonstrator. In 2023 though the company plans to have a production-conforming model in testing and that will move the program forward to EASA certification by 2025.
