    Autoland-Equipped Phenom 300EV Certified; Deliveries In 2028
The Autoland-equipped Embraer Phenom 300EV has now been certified by the FAA (U.S), EASA (Europe) and ANAC (Brazil) and is the now the largest executive jet to be fitted and certified with the Garmin's emergency Autoland technology -for now-. The certifications are in hand and come approximately one month after Embraer announced the Phenom 300EV mode but this latest and upgraded Phenom 300EV light jet does not enter service with deliveries with customers until 2028.

The Garmin Emergency Autoland once activated will autonomously fly the jet safely to the nearest suitable airport in the event of pilot incapacitation. This makes it easy for a passenger to press the emergency button and feel confident in the technology being able to bring the aircraft back to the ground safely.

The upgraded Phenom 300EV has a number of new features both in the cockpit and related to the passenger experience as well. However, the aircraft is more capable with an increase in the range of the aircraft estimated to be up to 2,055 nautical miles carrying up to four passengers and NBAA reserves. This extra range is particularly handy as it now permits nonstop flights between pairs such as New York City to Aspen and Dubai to the Maldives.
