350th Challenger 350 Shipped By Bombardier In a recent Bombardier press release the airframer highlighted that it at the time shipped the 350th example of a Challenger 350 Super midsize executive jet. Besides fitting the model of the jet to the delivery number this is an important milestone considering that the Challenger 350 entered service in June of 2014. In six years 350 shipments of this type have been made. Peter Likoray, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing, Bombardier Business Aircraft said, "This achievement shows the great confidence customers place in this aircraft and demonstrates Bombardier’s production proficiency and strong supplier base."
During 2019, the Challenger 350 captured around 43 percent of the Super midsize market and holds the title for best selling super midsize jet for six consecutive years- basically since it entered service-. Bombardier has not sat back to enjoy the success the Challenger 350 has enjoyed but they have been constantly adding updates and upgrades to the aircraft especially in the cabin where it matters most for clients. In the cabin, the atmosphere has become quieter over the last few years thanks to class-leading soundproofing technologies. The pilots get some upgrades too with the addition of HUD (Heads up Display) and EVS (Enhanced Vision System). Available is also a bit of a performance package in terms of increased range flying out of shorter runways of up to an extra 1,500 nautical miles. As of May 31, 2020, the worldwide fleet of in-service Challenger 350 aircraft accumulated more than 648,000 flight hours and more than 383,000 landings.
