  1. 50 Speed Records In Less Than 50 Weeks For Global 7500
Normally Gulfstream is in the news regarding speed records with their flagship aircraft but Bombardier is increasingly taking that spotlight. Bombardier's current flagship the Global 7500 has now surpassed 50 speed records in less than 50 weeks of operation. Global 7500 has a top speed of Mach 0.925 and interestingly the top 10 of those speed records involved speeds above 1,000 kph.
  2. With nearly 200 examples of the Global 7500 delivered and in service and 180,000 operational hours. Some of these records include essential city pairs from Miami to São Paulo, Tokyo to Los Angeles, Jeddah to London and London to Bahrain. Not just being able to fly at Mach 0.925 but there is also a baseline range of 7,700 nautical miles. which presents great flexibility to operators in terms of speed vs range calculations.
  3. "With every new speed record, the Global 7500 aircraft builds on its well-deserved reputation as the most impressive ultra long-range aircraft in the skies today," said Jean-Christophe Gallagher, Executive Vice President, Aircraft Sales and Bombardier Defense. "In terms of its design attributes, unique technological advancements and more, the Global 7500 aircraft is unmatched for its reliability, productivity and style."
  4. While all eyes have been on the Global 7500 for a while now attention will continue to shift to the future Bombardier flagship, the Global 8000. The incredible attributes of the Global 7500 aircraft will be enhanced even more with the introduction of the Global 8000 aircraft that was announced back in 2022. Bombardier’s future flagship of a new era will boast an industry-leading range of 8,000 nautical miles and an unbeatable top speed of Mach 0.94. Additionally there will be a 2,900 ft - or less- cabin altitude onboard when flying at 41,000 ft. The Global 8000 is progressing towards service entry in 2025.
