FAA Approves Bombardier Global 5500; 6500 The American regulatory body the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has given its approval to Canadian airframer Bombardier for its Global 5500 and 6500 models. The two new models have been certified by the local Transport Canada and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) prior. Bombardier is also celebrating the first delivery of a Global 6500 (seen below) on order from Hong Kong-based HK Bellawings.
