2020 Shaping Up To Be Record Year For Bombardier With Bombardier fully selling off its remaining stake in their former CSeries program to Airbus, they can now focus more squarely on their bizjet lineup that consist of Learjet, Globals and Challengers. Particularly of note is their Global line with its flagship, the Global 7500. This aircraft is still in its infancy when it comes to ramping up production after entry into service and because of this, Bombardier is likely to have a great year regarding deliveries. They are set to outpace 2019 delivery output by the end of this year. Last year Bombardier delivered 142 bizjets and are predicting 154 by the end of 2020.
12 Learjets, 76 Challengers, and 54 Globals were delivered in 2019, 11 of those Globals were the new 7500s which slightly fell short of their target. This year however, should be a different story as the ramp-up continues regarding the Global 7500. Bombardier is also making money even with all the chopping and changing they are doing with their products. Their profit rose from 424 million in 2018 to nearly 1.2 billion in 2019.
