Range Of Gulfstream's G500; G600 Extended
Based on real-world operations the range of the two-newest in-service offerings from Gulfstream, the G500 and G600, have had their range extended. The newly increased range Gulfstream has added for the G500 and G600 now apply to both the high-speed cruise of Mach 0.90 and the long-range cruise speed of Mach 0.85. They new numbers for the new jets involved a marked improvement. Gulfstream says the G500 now delivers 5,300 nautical miles/9,816 kilometers at Mach 0.85 and 4,500 nm/8,334 km at Mach 0.90...
Tamarack Installs Its First Active Winglets In Europe
Tamarack Aerospace has expanded outside of its Sandpoint, Idaho base and is now carrying out ACTIVE Winglet installations in Europe. Their first installation of the Active winglets was on a Citation CJ2 operated by Sovereign Business Jets (SBJ). N705GD joined the G700 flight test program on Friday when it took the the air for the first for an hour and fifty-six minute flight.
