Piaggio Aerospace To Restart Production With a new agreement secured that involves the Italian Government and other stakeholders it appears that Piaggio Aerospace will be returning to production sooner than anticipated. On April 24th a plan was agreed on in a meeting chaired by the Italian government and including representatives of local authorities and trade unions, will see production of the Piaggio Avanti Evo restart while work will resume on securing certification of the P.1HH Hammerhead. The P.1HH is the large drone/unmanned maritime reconnaissance incarnation of the pusher-prop business aircraft.
Also interests in the sale of the company are also in motion. Vincenzo Nicastro is the government-appointed so-called 'extraordinary commissioner' and says, the agreement is a step in the right direction for Piaggio Aerospace.
