Honda Aircraft Company Expanding In Greensboro For Further HondaJet Ramp Up Yesterday the Honda Aircraft Company announced at the 2019 European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (EBACE) that it is going to expand at its Greensboro facility in order to facilitate further ramp-up of the HondaJet and HondaJet ELITE models. The expansion will be worth around 15.5 million dollars and take the total worth of investment by Honda Aircraft Company into the site to around 245 million dollars or more.
Work on the new extension is expected to start in July of this year (2019). It will encompass a new 82,000-square-foot facility. "As the HondaJet’s popularity and presence continues to increase around the world, it is necessary for our facility to meet our production and service needs while operating at the highest level of efficiency," said Michimasa Fujino, president and CEO of Honda Aircraft Company.
