  1. Farnborough Air Show Nests Gulfstream G800 International Debut
The relatively new Gulfstream G800 has already started testing as we informed you in an article on June 28th. https://www.jetforums.net/threads/news-gulfstreams-g800-commences-test-program.4292/#post-27428 . Now the aircraft has made its first international stop which is the Farnborough Airshow that opened its doors today. Of course the aircraft arrived a few days ago to prepare for the show. The aircraft left from Savannah, Georgia to its Customer Support facility at Farnborough. As a reminder, Gulfstream only introduced the world to this aircraft in October 2021.
  2. The G700 which is expected to soon be certificated later this year is the game-changer for Gulfstream. The G800 will pickup where the G650ER left off and give customers all the benefits of the brand new G700. The first G800 testbed has actually started to expand the envelope already since its first test flight last month. It has already conducted an endurance flight that lasted more than eight hours and operations beyond its maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925 and cruise altitude of 51,000 feet. "To take the G800 on this transatlantic trip so close to first flight is extraordinary," said Gulfstream president Mark Burns. "Thanks to our strategic planning and the investments Gulfstream has made in our aircraft, we are able to fly the G800 with remarkable efficiency and bring the aircraft directly to customers early in the flight test program, as we have in Farnborough."
