  1. First Brazilian-Based Praetor 500 Enters Service
Embraer recently shipped the first Brazilian-based Praetor 500 and has since entered service. The model which is the successor to the Legacy 450 has been in service since mid-2019 and only now has the first Brazilian delivery. That means all the Praetor 500s that have been shipped since then have been international market customers. The first example heading to a Brazilian customer happened earlier this month and the client remained undisclosed at the time of publishing.
  2. "We are proud to deliver the first Praetor 500 in Brazil, the leading business aviation market in Latin America." said Gustavo Teixeira, Embraer sales v-p for Latin America. He added that the twinjet provides a "unique operational versatility, which will allow our new customer to reach farther distances while operating from small airfields." With a range of approximately 3,340 nautical miles it permits the Praetor 500 to reach directly from Sao Paulo to Puerto Rico, Natal to Lisbon or even Manaus to New York. The Praetor 500 is the smallest of the two Praetor models, the other being the Praetor 600.
