Enhanced TBM 910 At Florida's Sun n' Fun 2019 This year Daher Socata's TBM 910 is an enhanced version being showcased at Florida's Sun n' Fun International Fly-In that's presently going on April 2nd to 7th. The 910 this year comes with a few new features. This is on top of the new TBM 940 that Daher Socata recently introduced. Some of the features include; G1000 NXi avionics suite features that are incorporated in the high-end G3000 advanced flight deck of the TBM 930 and the TBM 940. They are, Surface Watch™, which helps the pilot maintain enhanced situational awareness in the airport environment; Baro VNAV, allowing approaches with vertical guidance when Wide Area Augmentation System navigation is not available; and visual approach assistance for the TBM pilot in performing visual approaches on non-controlled airports with vertical guidance.
There is automatic deicing detection now available on the TBM 910 that was brought forward on the new TBM 940. These are part of Daher’s TBM e-copilot® strategy of introducing increased functionality for operational safety improvements on the TBM product line. There are also enhancements to the interior and cabin area for passengers who are onboard.
