900th TBM Aircraft Delivered By Daher Socata Daher Socata is celebrating the 900th delivery of a TBM turboprop aircraft. According to a July 23rd press release Daher Socata the 900th aircraft was a TBM 930 variant and went to Thomas Solano, an IT entrepreneur in Jacksonville, Florida."We are committed to maintaining the TBM as best-in-class for the long-term, and will continue a sustained production rate for the aircraft," said Nicolas Chabbert, Senior Vice President of the Daher Airplane Business Unit. "This will be supported by our extensive in-house design, development and engineering capabilities, backed by the full support of our Daher parent company’s technical and financial resources."
The recent TBM 900 series has proven to be the most successful -in terms of sales- of the TBM iterations. The numbers prove this with some 238 units being produced in the space of four years since being introduced to the market in 2014. The new TBM 930 is now the owner's second TBM aircraft from Daher Socata. He is replacing his older TBM 850 that was bought in 2012.
