  1. ALIA CX300 Closing In On Certification
After being in the news recently regarding its first flight in New York, Beta Technologies ALIA CX300 is back in the news again. Beta had an example of their CX300 at the recently concluded 2025 edition of the Paris Air Show and naturally it caused a stir at the show. Many may know of Beta for currently developing the CX250 which is the eVTOL variant. The CX300 is actually the CTOL (conventional take off and landing) version which is edging closer to certification.
  2. Coming out of this year's Paris Air Show (PAS25), the airframer managed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for an order of a single CX300 unit. This was signed for by Republic Airways and they actually expect to take delivery of the that aircraft in the last quarter of this year. You may be wondering how they can take delivery of the craft when it is expected to be certified in 2026. Apparently, they will take delivery under special airworthiness certificate rules.
  3. The use case for the aircraft by Republic Airways is for pilot training in general and conduct route planning. Republic Airways also has the option to add on to that order should they see the need to in the future. Beta has a manufacturing facility live in Burlington, Vermont which is needed as interest in the aircraft continues to grow in the future.
