  1. EBACE26 Cancelled
The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) has taken the decision to cancel the 2026 edition of the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (EBACE). For months, the organizers had been touting a rejiggered layout and format to the show making it more friendly to participants and attendees. Now with less than 8 weeks to the expected start of this year's show, the organizers have pulled the plug.
  2. No word has been levelled on future shows either. However, the organizers did suggest that the revised layout/format failed to generate “the momentum needed to deliver a viable edition of the event.” The show was slated to be held at the Palexpo center at Geneva International Airport.
  3. “This is a difficult decision, and one we have not taken lightly,” said EBAA CEO Stefan Benz. “We know it will cause disappointment for exhibitors, partners, and participants who have committed to this year’s event and placed trust in it. However, we believe this is the most responsible course of action. It is also the right decision to help minimize further impact on those who had already committed to the event, and reflects the transparency and seriousness with which we must act towards our members and the wider market.”
  4. In recent years, EBAA has taken deliberate steps to reshape EBACE in response to market expectations and direct industry feedback. The 2025 edition marked the first visible phase of that effort, with a renewed focus on the event’s B2B value, stronger emphasis on networking opportunities, the introduction of dedicated networking zones, a refreshed brand identity, and a clearer focus on delivering value for both exhibitors and attendees. The European show had been through a number of changes and partnerships mainly with its collaboration with the American NBAA which did not last long after that partnership fell apart. Afterwards the EBAA relaunched the show in a revised format in 2025 and as JF reported had planned on further revisions for the 2026 show. The EBACE was first held back in 2001.
