Textron Aviation's Mesa Service Center is celebrating 15 years of proudly serving Cessna, Beechcraft and Hawker customers in Arizona and beyond. Situated at Phoenix Gateway Airport, the service center offers a full range of quality services including maintenance, modifications and interior upgrades to customers in the southwestern region. “We are incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished in Mesa,” said Michael Merlie, general manager, Textron Aviation Mesa Service Center. “Customers can rely on excellent and timely services and expert maintenance and modification work from our team at the Mesa Service Center, and we look forward to supporting them for years to come.” The creation of the 65,000 square-foot service facility started with employees from several different Textron Aviation service facilities around the United States, coming together 15 years ago to form the Mesa Service Center in the Valley of the Sun. More than 65 percent of the facility’s original workforce relocated from what was formerly known as the Cessna Long Beach service center. The Mesa Service Center supports five Mobile Service Unit (MSU) locations and is backed by a dedicated team of experts that provide services to southern California, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City.
Taiwan has approved ExecuJet Malaysia for Bombardier MRO work. The new approval from Taiwan's Civil Aviation Administration covers 96-month heavy maintenance checks on Challenger 604s and 605s, and 120-month checks on Global-family jets up to the Model 6500.
Banyan Air Service at Florida's Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE) has now added the Pilatus PC-24 light jet to the service capabilities for its Pilatus Satellite Service Center. The move adds tp Banyan’s commitment to increasing its delivering range in MRO services to a wider range of customers and aircraft types.
ExecuJet MRO Services Middle East has received EASA approval to perform line and base maintenance on the Bombardier Global 7500. You can find the facility at the Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport (OMDW). Not only it provides maintenance services for the Bombardier Global 7500 but other Bombardier aircraft as well as aircraft of the Dassault, Embraer, Gulfstream, Hawker, etc.

Comlux was in the news for the opening of their new aircraft maintenance facility Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). It is a 215,000 square foot facility. The hangar is large and can accommodate two large business jets at the same time meaning an ACJ and a BBJ at the same time or multiple small business jets.
This Challenger 604 had its cabin refurbished by FAI Technik. Michael Axtmann, Managing Director of FAI Technik said: “Performing a 7,800 landings’ inspection is a complex and rare undertaking. Part 145 Repair Station Approval has been given to Jets MRO from the FAA. The company recently moved into a new heavy maintenance facility at the Dallas Executive Airport a couple months ago. At a glance, the new approval permits them to carry out maintenance on Textron Aviation Beechjets, Cessna Citations, and Hawkers, in addition to Bombardier Challenger 300 and 600 series and Lears.
Duncan Aviation showcased a revamped Gulfstream G200 interior. “We are seeing a trend toward blacks and darker palettes for 2025,” said Duncan lead designer Jaime Blanken. “Customers are incorporating accents of grey, instead of making it dominant. This aircraft is a great example of the design selections we expect to see more of going forward.”
Bombardier has now added line maintenance station in Perth, Australia. “The addition of the Perth line maintenance station is an integral part of our overall mission to enhance OEM support for our customers in Australia,” said Paul Sislian, Bombardier executive v-p for aftermarket services and strategy. “We are delighted to be offering our customers expanded support, more resources, and increased flexibility closer to their base of operations.”

Gulfstream has completed its expansion at St Louis MRO facility. The project was originally announced back in 2023. With the expansion to the facility this now provides the resources for full aircraft interior outfitting activities at the location. “This St. Louis facility expansion is a continuation of our company-wide growth strategy to support the production of Gulfstream’s industry-leading fleet,” said Gulfstream president Mark Burns. “It positions our team to further support completions of our next-generation aircraft for customers all over the world as demand for these aircraft continues to grow.” In support of this latest growth, the company added 200 new jobs at the St. Louis MRO. “While many of these new positions have been filled, Gulfstream is still actively recruiting and hiring in St. Louis for numerous roles in avionics, interior installations, cabinet fabrication, and cabinet finishing,” it noted. The work was estimated to cost around 30 million dollars and was officially opened on May 1.
Metrojet Engineering Clark (MEC) has received a maintenance approval certificate from Guernsey’s Director of Civil Aviation (DCA). The company—a business aviation MRO services provider in the Asia-Pacific region—operates a 76,000-sq-ft repair station at Clark International Airport (RPLC) within the Clark Freeport Zone in the Philippines. "This achievement reflects the hard work and professionalism of our team and serves as a reminder of our ongoing responsibility to uphold the highest standards of safety, transparency, and service excellence," said MEC general manager Rudgen Guzman. NetJets has opened what they term as a 'Service Hub' at the London-area Farnborough Airport to bolster its operational infrastructure in Europe and reduce the need for maintenance positioning flights. The fractional ownership and charter flight provider said the investment will provide stronger support for its growing fleet of business aircraft in the region. You can find them in Hangar 2 (Bay 6) at Farnborough Airport, a dedicated business aviation gateway, the facility can accommodate up to 10 aircraft at a time.
Bombardier announced that the development of a new 51,000 sq. ft. paint facility at the London Biggin Hill Service Center is progressing in earnest with several key processes completed, including ground stabilization and foundation work on the hangar. The hangar steel framework continues to progress and the cladding works have also commenced. Bromley and Biggin Hill Member of Parliament, Peter Fortune, visited the London Biggin Hill Service Center on July 4, which provided him with a closer look at the exceptional aerospace expertise at the service center and the development of its most recent expansion. In the future, the two-bay paint facility is expected to employ more than 50 skilled paint technicians and will be the perfect complement to the close to 250,000 sq. ft. service facility, which is fully equipped to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications and avionics installations for Bombardier Global, Challenger and Learjet aircraft. In 2024, Bombardier and F/LIST announced the opening of a contemporary 700-sq. ft. material lounge to provide customers with access to the largest, most comprehensive portfolio of interior materials housed at one of its international service centers. Bombardier also announced last year the addition of more than 3,000 solar panels on the roof of the service center and a new line maintenance station at the nearby Farnborough Airport providing light scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as well as Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support.
Textron Aviation announced an additional high-speed internet connectivity solution for the Cessna Citation Sovereign and Sovereign+ following the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) issuance of AeroMech’s Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for Starlink high-speed internet connectivity. AeroMech’s STC utilizes Starlink’s constellation of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites to provide more reliable connectivity over land, water and remote areas, where traditional in-flight Wi-Fi may not have service.
