Gulfstream Aerospace 'G650', 'G280' arrive at 2012 EBACE in Switzerland
Gulfstream Aerospace surprised the general public at the EBACE in Switzerland in May with their all-new G650 and G280 business jets. The company has been intensively testing the two models but still found the time to send them to the Show in Geneva. The two aircraft made a stunning statement by simply flying non-stop from Dulles International in Washington.
Furthermore stunning is the fact that the G650 completed the trip in under half the aircraft’s endurance range, some 6 hours and 55 minutes. The smaller Gulfstream, the G280 did the trip in approximately 7 hours and 47 minutes...
Gulfstream 'G450' crosses Atlantic utilizing biofuel and becomes first business jet to do so
A Gulfstream G450 recently became the first business jet to cross the Atlantic using biofuels. The Honeywell-operated aircraft flew from North America to Europe using a 50/50 blend of Honeywell Green Jet Fuel and petroleum-based jet fuel powering one of its Rolls-Royce Tay Mk 611-8C engines. The G450 was also the world's first business jet to be powered by a biofuel.

Embraer delivers first 'Legacy 650' Executive Jet
Embraer delivered the first large category Legacy 650 executive jet, last Friday, to Amsair Aircraft Limited, owned by Lord Alan Sugar. The recently certified aircraft, to be based at London Stansted Airport (STN), U.K., will be operated by Titan Airways Executive, a VIP charter company, and will receive support and maintenance services from Inflite, an Embraer authorized service center in the U.K.
