Piaggio Aero Delivers First Avanti EVO Aircraft to Client The first Piaggio Aero Avanti EVO aircraft has been delivered to its owner. The Avanti EVO is the third generation of the Avanti P180 pusher turboprop aircraft that Piaggio Aero has become famous for. The brand new aircraft was just handed over -on the 20th April- to its undisclosed owner but we do know they are from Greece. This is the first one to be delivered since the EVO version was certified approximately four months ago. It appears as though the owner will utilize the seven-seater turboprop aircraft for charter operations in the region.
There are enough features on the new EVO to justify stepping up from the earlier model. The cabin is much quieter than her predecessors, a feature that anyone will want. The interior furnishings are updated as well. It also has five-bladed composite scimitar propellers and redone wing and winglets to aid in more efficient flight. The landing gear has also been changed and should see the cycle range increased to about 10,000 before overhaul is needed.
