Piaggio Aero Finishes 2015 With Deliveries Pusher-prop aircraft manufacturer Piaggio Aero has finished the year with two deliveries of the latest iteration of the Avanti model. They both were delivered to European clients one named and the other undisclosed. WinAir of Germany was the known customer. According to Francescomaria Tuccillo, the company's Chief Operations Officer, “the third generation of our business aviation turboprop has established itself as one of the most efficient, environmentally friendly, elegant and comfortable aircraft in its category”. He continued, “further contracts and deliveries are expected soon in North America, Middle East and Africa.”
The interiors of both aircraft were given the full treatment and the options list ticked-off. From specially fitted Poltrona Frau leather on the Iacobucci HF seating to custom client features specified by the customers. The deliveries bring the total number of Piaggio Avanti EVO models to three, handed over to clients for the year since the new iteration was certified earlier this year. The third generation aircraft offers a number of features that surpass previous generations. This bird can fly as high as 41,000 feet -yes up there with jets-. It has increased range and better fuel management leading to better fuel economy as well as overall better performance.
