  1. First Piaggio Avanti EVO From New Villanova d’Albenga Plant Flies
The first Piaggio Avanti EVO pusher-prop aircraft to come out of the new Piaggio Villanova d'Albenga Plant has taken its first flight. Last year Piaggio made the decision to move their production from Genoa to the new facility Villanova d'Albenga. This aircraft is expected to be finished up for a client and delivered for later this month. The first flight is an important milestone for the company and the employees who worked on the aircraft.
  2. Renato Vaghi, Piaggio Aerospace Chief Executive Officer, commented: “This event was very energizing for the whole Piaggio Aerospace team and it retains a highly symbolic value: with our new production center of Villanova, we are now able to compete as a main actor in the production of both commercial and defense systems. This achievement must be attributed to the men and women of Piaggio Aerospace, as well as to the continued support of our partners and suppliers. “Laer in particular”, he added, “which produces key components of our products in its new Albenga-based factory”. If you want to contact them, below is the new address since they moved.
