  1. Cessna Denali Progress Steady
Since the big reveal of the Cessna Denali Single Engine Turbo Prop (SETP) by Textron Aviation, things have been steadily going on behind the scenes as it relates to the project. Both Textron and GE have been working hard on getting the components ready so test articles can be assembled in time for a first flight maybe towards the back end of 2018.
  2. Even progress is reported on the Denali's 105-inch composite scimitar propeller blades. So much testing has been done on the propeller already that they are almost ready for certification testing. The Denali's flight deck which features the Garmin G3000 interface wont be ready for fitting until the second half of next year. However, this is not an issue as the G3000 is utilized in Textron's jets like the Citation CJ3+ and the M2 so integration definitely should not be an issue when that time comes. Work on the GE engine that will power the Denali is apace and is expected to run before the end of the year.
