News: Bombardier Gives A Peek Of The Global 7000 Interior

  1. Glimpse Of The Bombardier Global 7000 Interior
While Bombardier recently detailed the program advances to-date in relation to the first Global 7000 flight test vehicle, interior renderings have been pretty scarce. Only a couple visualizations via media videos gave an idea and of course the life-size mock-up of the cabin that debuted at the 2014 EBACE (European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition). Renderings are slowly emerging of the interiors of the Global 7000 and 8000. This longrange large executive jet will have a main cabin that is expected to be divided into four 'zones' -as the terminology goes-. The fourth zone towards the rear of the aircraft can be configured to be the owner/principal private stateroom with ensuite full stand-up steam shower as an option. Other zones consist of a lounge area, conference/dining region and general seating further forward. The galley has been totally re-imagined too giving the crew comfortable, functional and beautiful space to work in to easily serve 5-star meals on long over-night sectors.
  2. Bombardier states the Global 7000 and 8000 will redefine comfort, performance and flexibility. The aircraft may be essentially a longer version of the Global 6000 platform but the advantages are clear. Expected to fly upwards of 7,300 nautical miles with the new GE Passport engines at an average speed of 487-knots, four crew and ten passengers, the Global 7000 is a true distance flyer and with a top speed of Mach 0.90 it can nearly compete over shorter distances with the likes of the Gulfstream G650. Want to change the colour and intensity of the mood-lighting in the ceiling, sure you can do that, what about watching television of large flat screens? There will be capacity for upwards of a 50-inch screen in the mid-cabin zone. The interior while made-up for a four-zone configuration can be downsized to three zones if the client demands. The interior is going to be spectacular and come second half of 2018 (barring no more delays) we will see the true magic Bombardier has been mastering behind the scenes with the new Global line. Below is a photo how the dining/conference area could appear.
