  1. ACJ Takes Drapes Off ACJ350XWB At EBACE
The big boys are fighting it out at the top of the industry with both Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) and Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ) unveiling interiors for the VIP version of their commercial counterpart's newest twin engine widebodies -B787 and A350-. ACJ announced the ACJ350XWB touted as being the greenest VIP aircraft -in theory anyway-. The new widebody concept isn't that surprising as nearly all of their commercial variants can technically be converted to VIP status so it was only a matter of time before this 'formal' announcement was released. 2,910 square feet of interior space is available in the -900 variant of the ACJ350.
  2. ACJ in their press release said that the new ACJ350XWB will carry up to twenty-five (25) passengers in the utmost luxury and comfort. The aircraft will have an endurance of 22 hours for approximately 10,800 nautical miles. They also said that the aircraft will be coming with an 'Easyfit' package which is just fancy jargon for ACJ fitting universal connection points in the cabin so that the VIP package can be easily installed. John Leahy, COO of Airbus said: “One of Airbus’s greatest strengthens is to offer customers the world’s most modern and efficient aircraft family, and the ACJ350 with Easyfit expands its corporate jet offering, giving customers a new way to take their business to the world. Our customers want the best and most modern aircraft money can buy and the exemplifies that.” Expect the first example of the new widebody corporate jet to be delivered to client in 2019.
