Hawker Beechcraft to showcase at Aviation Summit

  1. HBC to Showcase Beechcraft Products; Support at 2012 AOPA Aviation Summit

Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) today announced it will feature three Beechcraft products and its customer support capabilities at this year’s Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Aviation Summit from Oct. 11-13 in Palm Springs, Calif. HBC will feature a Beechcraft King Air C90GTx, a Beechcraft Baron G58 and a Beechcraft Bonanza G36 at the summit’s Airportfest surrounding the Palm Springs Convention Center. Also on display will be a Bonanza XTRA, one of the company’s most popular upgrades for the Bonanza model. Additionally, HBC’s indoor booth (#612) will be dedicated to its Global Customer Support (GCS) organization.

“In addition to having three of our popular aircraft on display, we will be available to discuss upgrade opportunities and any other service-related topics during the AOPA Summit,” said Keith Nadolski, HBC president, Beechcraft Americas. “While we are proud to showcase the latest packages that improve comfort and functionality, we also enjoy utilizing these venues to listen to our customers’ experience with their airplanes. These interactions lead to new offerings, like the XTRA program.”

Beechcraft products on display at AOPA’s Aviation Summit include the following:

King Air C90GTx – The C90GTx takes light twin turboprop performance to new levels. Composite winglets and a higher maximum takeoff weight give the C90GTx even greater flexibility while retaining its predecessor’s performance. Featuring a cabin 50 percent larger than some very light jets, the C90GTx seats up to seven passengers in its famed squared-oval design, allowing greater passenger comfort. It includes an in-flight accessible, heated and pressurized baggage storage area, along with a private aft lavatory as standard.

Baron G58 – The twin-engine piston aircraft that pilots aspire to own, the Beechcraft Baron G58 offers unmatched performance and range/payload capabilities in its segment. It also features a premium cabin that provides the best ride of any twin-engine aircraft, including flexible seating that allows for seating of two, four or six people, with the option to reconfigure and remove seats to accommodate mission needs and large baggage items. Its flight deck includes fully integrated Garmin G1000® avionics with a GFC 700 flight control system and new GWX 68 color weather radar.

Bonanza G36 – With unmatched efficiency and speed – as well as a cabin almost a third larger than its nearest competitor – the Beechcraft Bonanza G36 offers its customers superior performance for their money. Not only does it consume less fuel than its competitor, it is able to fly significantly faster. Designed and built strong enough to be certified in the rugged utility category, the Bonanza G36 is ready for any adventure with first–class technology and comfort and world–class Beechcraft quality. This piston–engine powerhouse can carry four passengers 750 miles and has a maximum cruise speed of more than 200 miles per hour.

Bonanza XTRA – The Beechcraft Bonanza XTRA provides the most popular upgrades for the Bonanza in a bundled package directly from Hawker Beechcraft Parts & Distribution (HBP&D). The primary bundle available through the Bonanza XTRA program includes the installation of Garmin G500 avionics, D’Shannon Tip Tanks and Gross Weight Increase, Aviation Design new interior and an XTRA paint scheme. Additional options are available including a Performance Package, Avionics Package and Interior Package.
