Make no mistake, these pilots have done their homework in order to bring the excitement of flight to the masses. The "Boss" or Commanding Officer of the Blue Angels must have 3,000 tactical jet flight-hours and commanded a tactical jet squadron before being considered for this "Top Gun" position.
At the end of the aerial display, the team forms up then one by one breaks-away to circle back for landing.
