Looks like Africa is going to be having their own Business Aviation Show. News of this announced at the ongoing EBACE in Geneva, Switzerland. Focused only on the African business aviation sector, the event will run in conjunction with the Marrakech air show on 23-26 April 2014. The formal agreement was signed at EBACE this afternoon by Ragheb and Frédéric Le Hénaff, of the Marrakech air show. The new show will be called the AfBAA or African Business Aviation Association.

NetJets Europe announced at the 2013 EBACE today that they will accept their first Embraer Phenom 300 business jet in 2014. More specifically it is expected to be added to its fleet in early 2014.
The Abalone Group has acquired a TBM 850 Elite Model 2013 – DAHER-SOCATA’s latest very fast turboprop aircraft – which will be operated for long-distance trips with company executives and managers. The announcement was made at this week’s European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE), where DAHER-SOCATA is present at booth #1643 in Geveva’s Palexpo center.

RusAero at stand 763 of the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition has announced that from May 30th it will drastically reduce the time needed for a business jet flight to attain clearance into Russian airspace. This is particularly targeting aircraft with 19 seats or less. From the end of May, it will only take one day, rather than three, will be necessary to gain clearance and almost all the permissions needed can be gained by filing a standard flight-plan.
Nextant 400XTi Makes European Debut The Nextant 400XTi, was on display at this week’s EBACE show in Geneva, Switzerland. Seems they came away with three orders from the show for the 400, to be used as Air Abumlances. The Nextant 400XTi inproves upon the 400XT ever so slightly still keeping things attractive.

Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) displayed a BBJ 3 for the first time at the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (EBACE) 2013. The exterior of the new craft remained green and unpainted but the interior was totally finished. The aircraft is for sale awaiting to be painted with an owner's special livery. ***
The aircraft, based on the Boeing 737-900ER, was outfitted with a custom VIP interior at Jet Aviation.
