  1. The Gulfstream-designed CabinView lets passengers track flight progress, displays points of interest and provides passenger briefings. The G650 offers a variety of ways to stay connected, such as the Gulfstream Broadband Multilink high-speed data system, two multichannel satellite communications systems or a wireless local network that provides onboard printing, Internet access and phone service. Dual media servers, high-definition video source equipment and a cabin audio system also keep business on track, even at Mach 0.925
  2. The G650 offers intuitive touchscreen controls designed for ease of use by passengers. The galley has a stainless-steel appliance suit with a coffee maker, a microwave, a convection oven and a refrigerator with freezer. Solid-surface countertops with a removable cutting board over the sink add more prep space and two exposed windows add natural light.
  3. The Very Light Jet market heated up in the mid-2000's as a flurry of VLJ's were introduced to fill an emerging segment following 9/11, the Small Aircraft Transportation System (SATS), essentially a regional commuter service. With the economic collapse of the late 2000's, the VLJ market cooled off, leaving just the Cessna Mustang, Embraer Phenom 100 and the Eclipse 500, a pioneer in the VLJ market that survived the challenged of the start-up stage and has emerged with an aircraft that has become the definitive VLJ, the Eclipse 550.
  4. The new 550 is based upon the same airframe which received FAA approval in 2013. The 550 has will hit 41,000 feet with a max cruise of 430 mph, covering over 1100 miles at only 59 gallons of fuel per hour, making it the most efficient twin-engine jet on the market.
  5. The Eclipse 550 is powered by a pair of Pratt & Whitney PW610F turbofans. Compact and lightweight, they use fewer parts than a conventional turbofan which minimizes maintenance. Rated at 900 pounds of thrust, they are fuel-efficient and come with dual-channel full-authority digital engine control (FADEC) to reduce pilot workload.
  6. Eclipse offers a 3-year factory warranty. For the first 36 months or 1,200 flight hours from factory delivery (whichever occurs first), the factory covers the aircraft for workmanship, parts, and labor. Each Eclipse Jet airframe is warrantied by the factory for 10 years or 5,000 flight hours, whichever comes first. All other aircraft components (excluding consumables) are warrantied for 36 months from date of delivery or 1,200 flight hours.
  7. In February 2014, the FAA approved autothrottles and anti-skid brakes for the 550. The manufacturer states the new braking system will stop the aircraft in 700 ft from normal landing speeds. The first customer delivery of the new 550 was completed in March 2014. If you're a current Eclipse 500 owner, you can upgrade your aircraft to the Eclipse 500 PLUS. to take advantage of the refinements of the new 550. This program gives Eclipse 500 owners who currently have the Integrated Flight Management System package installed in their aircraft access to technological and safety advancements developed for the Eclipse 550. Features include auto throttle, an anti-skid brake system, high-resolution PFDs and MFD, a standby display unit, new glass faced windscreens, and an improved air conditioning system.
  8. For you puddle-jumpers, Viking had a colorful Twin Otter 400 on display at static. Viking is a first tier original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specializing in de Havilland aircraft products. In 2006, Viking accepted the transfer of the type certificates for seven legacy de Havilland aircraft and are committed to de Havilland owners and operators worldwide providing parts and service.
  9. In 1965, de Havilland Canada developed the DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft – a high winged, un-pressurized twin engine turbine powered aircraft designed as a rugged Short Take Off and Landing (STOL) commuter. The Twin Otter was capable of carrying people and cargo into remote unimproved locations, operating in the harshest environments, ranging from Antarctica to the hottest deserts of North Africa or the mountainous regions of the Himalayas. A testimony to its rugged construction and incredible STOL performance, the Twin Otter became the best-selling 19 passenger aircraft of all time, still unmatched for its dependability and versatility.
  10. Available on standard land gear, optional straight or amphibious floats, skis, wheel skis, or intermediate flotation gear (“IFG”), with multiple quick-change interior configurations available, the Series 400 Twin Otter is a versatile aircraft that can be utilized for multiple roles, such as regional commuter, environ mental monitoring, parachute operations, cargo and infrastructure support, corporate shuttle, crew carrier, charter operations, and personal private use. The Wipline floats featurea fluted hull design with shallow deadrise bottom to provide better handling in choppy water, while the flat top decks and built-in steps make boarding easier for crew and passengers. To further improve safety, the floats are designed and installed so an emergency no-flap landing is not only possible but uneventful.
