The 2017 edition of the Latin America Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition got underway yesterday (the 15th) and continues today and culminates tomorrow on the 17th. The event is being held at the Congonhas Airport in Sao Paulo where several airframers and companies have aircraft and equipment on display.
Pilatus is picking up steam in the Latin American region. In the last few years they have been selling aircraft in countries they never had before like Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia and Chile. The number of PC12s flying around in the Latin American region aren't astronomical compared to other aircraft types but it is an upcoming market they are trying to target in cooperation with their exclusive sales agent SYNERJET. The majority of Pilatus aircraft are flying around in Brazil.
