  1. Two New Upgrades For Project 'Canada'
One Aviation has announced yesterday two new upgrades for the new Project 'Canada'/Eclipse 700. Customers will be able to have have electrochromic dimmable windows and lithium-ion batteries. The very light jet will have the dimmable windows technology supplied by PPG Aerospace. The lithium-ion batteries will be supplied by Acme Aerospace confirmed by One Aviation CEO Alan Klapmeier.
  2. With these new features added to the list of options for customers it will put the very light jet in an interesting market segment. The revamped Eclipse 700/Project 'Canada' has a slightly longer fuselage (about 14-inches longer than the Eclipse 550). The wings have been redesigned and have a 4-foot extension. They are also moving from Pratt & Whitney PW610Fs to Williams International FJ33s. The flight deck will be fitted with the Garmin G3000 suite. Mr. Klapmeier suggests the additions are relatively simple for the upgrade package.
