  1. One Aviation May End EA550 Ahead Of Project Canada
With Project Canada in development One Aviation is contemplating the future of the EA550 model. Project Canada will eventually replace the EA550 but that doesn't come to market until 2019, perhaps late 2018. One Aviation has been deciding whether they should retire the EA550 this year. It doesn't appear that this revamped model -the slight step up from the Eclipse EA500- is selling as well as they would like.
  2. The Eclipse Canada (Project Canada) was unveiled in mid 2016 touting much better features and capability than the EA550 it was envisioned to replace. It is not a definite decision at this stage but it is something One Aviation is thinking about. They could extend production just as easily, supply issues and market forces will help govern that decision. The Eclipse Canada will have longer wings that are slightly redesigned. Greater capacity will be in the baggage compartment as well as the cabin. The range is expected to be around 1,400 nautical miles being powered by a pair of Pratt & Whitney PW610 engines.
